Quality Inn & Suites, 634 David Street, Centerville, TN 37033 - 931-729-5600.
Quality Inn and Suites is to the west about 15 miles (20 minutes) away, and is the closest motel. It is a newly renovated hotel with new management. "The hotel has an interior corridor with outdoor pool and many new amenities. We now have in all rooms high speed wireless internet, microwave and refrigerator and iron and ironing boards. We also serve fresh hot breakfast every morning with sausage, eggs, biscuit, gravy and much more. Walking distance dining options include Sonic Drive-In and Mi Cocina Mexican Restaurant. We also accept pets with a minimal charge." Call the hotel directly and mention you are here for the Shady Acre Sheep Dog Trial. Your room will be discounted and pet fees will be waived if the dog stays in a crate.

***  I have been informed that the standards of Centerville's Quality Inn & Suites has fallen.  How bad, how much, I have no idea....    Unfortunately, this is the only hotel / motel in our county.   The following larger towns have several choices for lodging.

DicksonTN   North of us, approximately 30 miles, 45 min

Columbia, TN, to the southeast, is 20 miles (about 30 minutes) away.

Nashville, TN, to the northeast, is about 50 - 60 miles away.

Camping

Shady Acres dry lot camping is available here on the farm. The fields are level. Unless the weather is extremely wet, mud should not be a problem. We do however have a tractor if anyone does get stuck.

Full size campers & RVs get around the corners, and fit through the double gates with plenty of room:
